Multi use games areas (MUGA) are versatile facilities which enable a number of different sports to be played – Knowsley Surfacing are able to advised and offer a multitude of different specifications and dimensions for your MUGA construction needs.
Knowsley Surfacing offers:
Polymeric Surfacing – A rubberised material, it is ideal for sports like tennis and basketball as it has good ball bounce and low slip resistance. Polymeric surfacing porosity means water drains through it, preventing flooding ensuring it can be used in all weather conditions.
Macadam – A very popular material because it is durable and hard wearing – it also has a porous surface to allow for good water drainage. A coating of coloured anti slip paint can be applied to a macadam court to enhance the playing qualities (eg lines on a netball court).
Artificial Grass – Synthetic grass facilities can be constructed to a range of specifications including sand filled surfaces and all weather pitches – ideal for playing activities like football and hockey.
Multisport Synthetic Turf – Extremely versatile surface which can be used for almost any type of activity.
